Martha Bolen (L8S8-DB1) 1811-1847 (died 31 October 1847 in Lawrence, Ohio.)

Martha "Patty" Bolen was born April 20, 1811 in Ohio. This would be Martha Bolin (sic) who married March 4, 1841 Joel Stover in Lawrence County, Ohio. Joel Stover was in the 1830 Census. The following Census record shows Martha Bolen Stover picked up many step children.

The 1840 Census (before October of the year), Bloom Twp., Scioto, Ohio, had Joel Stone (sic Stover) (age 30-40, two males under 5, 1 female under 5, 1 female age 5-10, 2 females 10-15, 1 female 20-30, 1 female 30-40) In 1841 he would marry Martha Bolen). (Ancestry.com)

Also in that 1840 Census (before October of the year), Bloom Twp., Scioto, Ohio, had: A. Anna Thompson (age 20-30, soon to be the wife of Henry Bolen, Jr.), as head of household. Five of the six households before hers are of interest: B. Joseph S. Thompson (age 50-60), C. John Thompson (age 50-60), D. Adam Fout (age 50-60, William's father), E. William Fout (age 20-30, He had married Sally Bolen in 1837) F. Joel Stover (age 30-40, who later in 1841 he would married Martha Bolen). (Ancestry.com)
