Biography
Elise Bolliger was born to Kaspar Bolliger and Elise Stambach in Uerkheim, Switzerland in 1877.
In 1905, a year after her brother Jacob emigrated, Elise Bolliger and her paternal aunt Elise Bolliger emigrated to America. They arrived in New York City on The Philadelphia on 12 Nov 1905. [1]
In 1910, Elise was a servant living in the Travis family household in Portland, Oregon. [2]
In 1920, Elise was head of household living with her siblings and maternal aunt Elise Stambach, in Portland, Oregon. [3]
In 1940, Elise was living with her sister Adele and Adele's husband Emil Hari, in Portland, Oregon. [4]
Elise died in 1947 in Portland, Oregon. [5]
She is buried in Rose City Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. [6]
