Biography

I was born October 18, 1973 at the old Delaware Valley Hospital in Bristol, Bucks County, Pa. I attended Pennsbury School District and Bucks County Tecnical School graduating from both in June 1992. I grew up in the North Park section of Levittown, where I lived until September 2006. I then moved to western Pennsylvania where I bought a house in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. I married my husband, Timothy James Pierce Grenade on February 13, 2010 in a small ceremony at Jameson Hospital Chapel in New Castle, Lawrence Co., Pa.

I started Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Bucks Co., Pa at the age of 30 in 2004. I then transferred to Slippery Rock University in Butler Co., in January 2007 with a double major in Special education and Elementary Education. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Slippery Rock in May 2010 with a 3.7 QPA. Following graduation I participated in a one year Domestic Peace Corps position through Keystone SMILES AmeriCorps. I served at Wilmington Area School District where I was a teacher,tutor, and mentor to students. I also took a 3 credit graduate course through Clarion University.

I have a great love of animals and genealogy. My first dog, which my parents had when I was born was Coco, a German Sheppard.Later I had Angel who was a Sheppard mix, now I have Sequoia (Jack Russell Terrier), Spike (Puggle), and Cootie (Sheppard mix). I have had various pets including fish, lizards, a snake, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have always wanted to own a horse.
