James Buchanan Bolton was born on November 10, 1857 in Shelby County, Alabama. He was the son of George W. and Evelyn Bolton. He died on August 14, 1950 in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. He was a widower, and a retired farmer. He was buried at Fargo Cemetery.[1]
