McConnelsville--John R. Bolyard, 70, of McConnelsville, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at the Lancaster Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.

Born Sept. 22, 1937 in Union Township, Morgan County, Mr. Bolyard was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Spencer Bolyard; two daughters, Kimberly and Crystal; two sons, Terry and Anthony Bolyard; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Patty North and Judy Tullis; and two brothers, Fred and Kenneth Bolyard.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Wells; father, Robert Bolyard; son, Richard Bolyard; and brother, Jerry Bolyard.

At John's request, a caring cremation will take place. Miller-Huck Funeral Home of McConnelsville is in charge of arrangements.
