Hi !

Thanks for joining us! I’m David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree?

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?

Thank you, David ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hello Again,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try! For profiles for living people, just go to this link. RootsSearch

Hi Deborah

Thanks for volunteering, You are now a full member of the WikiTree community. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Please start with the New Member How-To - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around. If the links in emails don't work correctly, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

If you click the green name tag on your profile page, you'll see that there are other WikiTreers following the surname.check to see if any of them are relatives.

Take your time, and let me know if you need any help using the site. I'm always happy to answer questions.

Enjoy exploring

mom died and her side of the church was empty- my childhood was filled with ghosts from my maternal grandparent's past (who are gone) and mom took to many secrets to her grave. i started with my grandparent's marriage license and things took off really fast. so i expanded to other lines of my family. some i traced back to the pilgrims and at least one ended abruptly with a confederate pension application. i've decided to concentrate on the matriarchs in and around my life- hopefully one day i'll write a collection of stories about these fascinating women. like me they had complicated lives and although nobody found them interesting in life, their stories to me are academy award winners. my mothers were inlaws and outlaws- refined ladies and prarie maws- and i'm a collection of them all.
