Biography
Cecil was born in 1882, the son of Augustus Salmond Bond and Jane (Drury)[1]
He married Mabel Lavinia Prideaux in 1917 in Victoria[2]
Cecil was awarded an M.B.E. in 1957 as a member of the Woorayl Shire Council since 1931 (The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 - 1957) View title info Tue 1 Jan 1957 / Page 9 ) Cr. Cecil Augustus Salmond Bond: Member of the Woorayl Shire Council since 1931. He is a member of the Dairying Industry Stabilisation Committee, Dairying Industry Transport Committee, and the Co-operative Butter Factories' Association.[3]
He passed away in 1973 aged 90 years[4]
Cecil (Jack) is buried in the Leongatha Cemeterry, Victoria.[5]
