John Dean, of Windham, and Rachel Bond, of Canterbury, were married 22 Jan 1746, at the Hampton Congregational Church.[1] The marriage was recorded in Windham,[2] which was, at the time, the legal jurisdiction. Hampton did not become a town until 1786.
