BORN: in St. Mary's County, of age by 1760. NATIVE: at least third generation. RESIDED: in Upper Resurrection Hundred, St. Mary's County.

FATHER: Capt. John Bond (?-1760), son of Zachariah Bond (?-ca. 1716). MOTHER: Elizabeth, daughter of John Attaway (?-1732), of St. Mary's County. UNCLE: Zachariah Bond(?-ca. 1776). BROTHERS Gerard (?-1789), died without progeny; Samuel; John; Richard; and William. SISTERS: Susannah, who married (first name unknown) Bates; Elizabeth, who married (first name unknown) Jordan; Margaret, who married (first name unknown) Sothoron. FIRST COUSIN: (first name unknown) Bond, who married Henry Greenfield Sothoron (ca. 1732-1793).

MARRIED by 1757 Cecelia (?-ca. 1797), widow of Dr. John Key (?-1755), son of Philip Key (1696 /97-1764); daughter of Dr. Gustavus Brown (?-1762); stepdaughter of Margaret; niece of Anne Brown Claggett Horner, who married third, Samuel Hanson (1716-1794).
