William Bond was born about 1723 in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut as the fifth child of Nathaniel Bond 1685-1747 and Elizabeth Backus 1686-1747.[1] He was baptized on 21 Apr 1723 (Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut)[2]
He had eleven siblings, namely:
When he was 31, he married Sarah Woodard, daughter of Issac Woodward and Elizabeth Armstrong, on 25 Sep 1754 in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut, USA[3][4].
He fought in the French and Indian War as a member of Capt. Coyt's Company.
He died on 19 May 1799 in Connecticut, USA (Age: 76)[5]. He was buried in Westminister Cemetery in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut. His estate was probated in 1799 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA[6]
