At the 1871 census, Henry was living with his parents at Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire, aged 18, and occupied as a cordwainer. His father William is listed as a Currier. [3]
He married Caroline Vaisey, daughter of Esau Vaisey and his wife Caroline Turner, at the Stroud register office, Gloucestershire, England on 12 Apr 1879. [4] They had at least nine children. [5]
By the time of the 1891 census he is still living a Leonard Stanley with his wife and children, and his occupation is listed as "Cowman and Shepherd" [6][7][8]
He passed away in 1936, being buried at Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire, England on 7 Nov 1936. [9]
