Biography

Henry Bond

He was born about 1853 at Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire, England, the son of William Bond and his wife Eliz Gwilliam. ^{[1] [2]}

At the 1871 census, Henry was living with his parents at Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire, aged 18, and occupied as a cordwainer. His father William is listed as a Currier. ^[3]

He married Caroline Vaisey, daughter of Esau Vaisey and his wife Caroline Turner, at the Stroud register office, Gloucestershire, England on 12 Apr 1879. ^[4] They had at least nine children. ^[5]

By the time of the 1891 census he is still living a Leonard Stanley with his wife and children, and his occupation is listed as "Cowman and Shepherd" ^{[6] [7] [8]}

He passed away in 1936, being buried at Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire, England on 7 Nov 1936. ^[9]
