Antoine Bondurant passed away in 1558. Antoine was also known as Anthonie.[citation needed]
Antoine I decided to seek his fortune in Génolhac, some 10 miles away up the Régordane Road. By his death, he had established himself as an innkeeper in Génolhac and had inherited the home at Maliheires.[citation needed]
Antone, an innkeeper at Génolhac, was the father of Jehan Bondurant.[1]
