Biography

William Bone was the son of John Bone. He was born in 1670 in Ireland. He migrated to Pennsylvania from Ireland in 1692. Bone passed away in 1728.[1]

He married Jane McWilliams. They were the parents of:[1]

  1. John, born 1693, who stayed in Pennsylvania
  2. Alexander, born 1695, who moved to North Carolina
  3. William II, born 1697, who stayed in Pennsylvania

Research Notes

This Willam Bone I is the subject of the genealogy book named History of the Bone Family of America: descendants of William Bone I to the mid-nineteenth century and some of his ancestors published in 1972 by Robert Gehlmann Bone.[1]
