I created this profile when I was just beginning to do genealogy & was unfamiliar with many of the conventions. Her surname should have remained as BONIN, as was the practice in that population, & it is the standardized practice in the Acadians group of Wikitree, n'est-ce pas? (This woman is my "aunt" -- sister of my firth-great-grandfather, Pierre "La Chaume" Bonin.
