Biography

Elizabeth Marie Bonin was born around 1836 in Louisiana. In 1850 she was living in St. Martin Parish with her mother Marie Coralie Hayes, father Paul Norval Bonin, and siblings Telesphore, Oneziphore, Zepherin, Evariste, Alcide, and Offelia Bonin. ^[1]

In 1852, Elizabeth married Leon Leleu in Louisiana. ^[2] They had a daughter, Julia Josephine Leleu, in 1853. ^[3]
