Bennett William (b. 1824) was a close associate of his brother Allen. They lived as neighbors in Henry and Clayton Counties and removed together to Carroll where they continued a close relationship. Bennett became a surveyor and once served as the official surveyor of Carroll County. He died on Nov 4, 1898 and is buried with his brother Allen at the Old Camp Methodist Church. His wife Francis (b. June 27, 1827) died on October 23, 1916."
