This family tree represents my biological family tree. My birth certificate lists me as Alicia Dawn Inglett after my adoption, but for the purpose of this tree, I use my birth name, Alicia Bonner. I consider Fred Inglett to my dad and am eternally grateful for his influence in my life. I created this family tree to find out who I was by nature - as I already know the person I have become through his nurture.

Early Life and Family Relationships

I was born in Pensacola, Florida. During my childhood, we moved around quite a bit. In my entire life, I've never lived in the same place for more than 5 years.
I consider my grandmother's 10-acre heavily wooded homestead home. There, I learned to tend chickens, climb trees, and scrape knees. Unfortunately, she recently sold that plot and now, it's an upscale subdivision.
My mother and biological father divorced when I was a baby and he left my life. My mother's second husband, Fred Inglett adopted me when I was I was about 6. I know very little about my biological father's side of the family, as well as my mother's Native American roots. So, for all those people reaching out to me with questions on either side of that fence, I'm very little help. My apologies. I do consider Fred Inglett to be my dad, but started this profile with my pre-adopted birth name looking for lineage on that side of my DNA heritage.
I have one sister, Angela (from my mother and adopted father), and a brother, Sean (by my biological father and step-mother). I am very close with my sister but haven't had contact with Sean (or anyone on my father's side of the family) in many years.
I have 2 grown sons Josh and Daniel and currently reside outside of Pensacola on a wooded lot similar to my grandmother's. I hope to one day be able to say I've lived here for more than five years. Their biological father is John Michael "Mike" Tilley.

Marriage

Marriage to Michael Tilley

We married in 1990[1][2] and divorced in 2000 [3]
We never found stability and moved around all over Pensacola. [4][5][6]
Sadly Mike passed away in 2017 from cancer.

Marriage to John Boswell

After my divorce from Mike, I married John Boswell, Jr. We lived in Gulf Breeze, Florida[7] right outside of Pensacola. Subsequently, we moved to Davenport, Florida right outside of Disney World.[8]
Regrettably, that marriage also ended in divorce. While living in Orlando, I worked as a web designer and was an e-Bay Top Seller selling Disney merchandise.
I left Florida and moved to Minnesota. I had two troubled teenage sons and the schools in Minnesota were much better than the gang-ridden schools my sons attended near Orlando.

Marriage to David

David and Alicia
I reconnected with my high school sweetheart and friend of almost 30 years, David Taylor. He was also divorced and had two small children. We happily married and combined our families. He later legally adopted both of my sons at their request.
On July 8, 2008, David and I married, joined in union in his parent's beautiful wooded yard, surrounded by our closest friends and family. We released butterflies to signify a renewal for each of us and wrote our own vows.
David's Vows:
Alicia,
I will not betray you, control you, threaten you, nor invade your privacy. Nor will I laugh at your pain or troubles. Instead, I choose to listen without judging or rejecting you.
You are an intelligent woman whose opinions, dreams, ideas, preferences, ways of doing things, and feelings should never be underestimated or mocked. I will show you how much I care by considering your needs and asking how you feel.
When you ask me questions I will try to give you reasonable answers without evading but with honesty and integrity knowing full well that you are capable of comprehension, understanding, and great compassion.
Alicia's Vows
David, I love and admire you. You are my best friend. You were my first love and you will forever be my one true love. You are an individual and deserve your individuality to be cherished and respected.
Today, I give to you my oath of eternal, unconditional love. I will stand by you in the times that we laugh and the times that we cry. I will care for you in times of illness and will not abandon you in the face of hardships.
I promise to be a committed, faithful wife, a trusted friend and loyal companion.
These promises I give to you today and all the rest of the days of our lives

Education

98 in College Prep Program
I started out my high school career at Pensacola High School. I was one of the first students to attend the International Baccalaureate college prep program there. [9][10]However, at the end of my 9th grade year, I transferred to Pine Forest High School, where I met the love of my life, David Taylor.
After graduating from there, I attended the University of West Florida and majored in both Psychology and Computer Information Systems (with an emphasis on web design, development, and e-commerce marketing). I also took some classes at Pensacola Junior College.

Current Life

I enjoy amateur photography and gaming with my husband. I am also a serious animal lover and have five cats. I am an occasional blogger on TaylorLife where I talk about our personal lives, share pescatarian recipes, health tips, and talk about our cats.

Dear Alicia,

The Profile Improvement Project (PIP) is performing its first annual check-in with our project members. We are in the process of transitioning to a team structure. There will be three participant PIP Teams to start -- The Maintenance Category Team, the Unknowns Team, and the Biography Team. There is also the Voyage Team who guide new Voyagers. See the Profile Improvement Project Teams for a brief outline of each team. Please let us know which team(s) you would like to participate in.

For those of you who joined the Project before the Voyage started in late 2018, we would like to invite you to consider a "fast track" Voyage, especially if you plan to join the Biography Team. If you’re interested, choose a profile that you have completed to the best of your ability and compare it to the Voyage Biography Standards. If you’re at Level 2 or better, include a link to the profile in your response to this check-in for a “fast track” review.

We would also like to invite you to join the email GoogleGroup and text chat Discord channel for our project. (When you request to join our GoogleGroup, please be sure to include your Wiki ID). You will find more information on the GoogleGroup.

We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project and WikiTree. The Project’s mission is to:

Make profiles beautiful! We clean up messy biography sections and sources, and try to set standards for attractive, useful, and well-written biographies, starting with those we manage.

We know you’re working on profiles *smile* We would like to hear about successes you’ve had toward the Project’s goals. We would also appreciate any feedback you might have to help us improve the Project. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or privately via private message to either of us.

Sincerely,

Debi Hoag and Robin Shaules Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project
