DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:

I'm a descendant through his granddaughter Mary Ann Bonney

Hello. I am looking for other descendants of Joseph Bonney. Like many others I am researching my tree and he is my 5 x GG via James Bonney’s lineage, one of his children born to wife Hannah Clarke. I would love to hear from anyone. I believe 1 or 2 descendants have actually written a book about him.
