Biography
Richard Bonney's birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1862 in the Fylde district.[1]
Richard drowned aged 11 with his father when their fishing boat capsized in the R. Ribble on August 1st 1873.

In loving memory of William Bonney age 39 years and Richard his son age 11 years who were drowned by the capsizing of their boat August 1st 1973. Also Ellen widow of the above who died January 13th 1881 age 45 years also of John son of the above and dearly loved husband of Mary Bonney who died October 11th 1931 age 72 years, one of the Mexico heroes "Duty Nobly Done". Also Mary wife of the above who died January 29th 1943 age 91 years.
