Biography

Cornelis Theunisz Bogaertman/Bogaert (and the many alternate spellings) was the son of Theunis Gijsbertszn in den Bogaertman / Bogaert.^[1] His mother was Neeltjien Laurens.^{[2] [3]}

He lived and died in Schoonrewoerd which is currently located in South Holland, the Netherlands. His wife was Beeltje Cornelisse.^{[1] [3]}

His unknown birth is estimated.

He died before 10 Dec 1646.

"December 10, 1646 - Division of the property of the late Neeltijien Laurens, [his mother] between her husband, Theunis Gijsbertszn In den Boogaertman and their children, Louw Theuniszn Gijsbert Theuniszn and the late, Cornelius Theuniszn."^[3][2]

26 Dec 1646. Theunis Gijsbertszn In den Boogaertman, his father, asked the court to name another guardian for the minor children of his deceased son Cornelius Theuniszn. Theunis was an "old man, over eighty years of age" with failing eyesight. His co-guardian asked to be relieved of this responsibility also. Theunis' surviving son, Louw, was appointed guardian of the children.^[2]
