George was born about 1797-1798. His name shows up primarily as George Michael Lynn Booker, however, some researchers have documented him as George McLean Booker as well.
His parents were probably either Jacob Bucher and Ann Mary Wetzel or some records claim her name was Mary Ann Suddath. The documentation is a bit unclear on this.
It appears he was born in Virginia, most likely in or around Frederick County. Most records show that by 1820, he was married to Sabella Malinda Rupert. They had around 4 children together before she passed away in 1829, most likely in Virginia. After her death, he moved to Kentucky and by 1841-1842, he married Elizabeth Williams. They had what looks to be 5 children while living in Kentucky, and it appears that they settled primarily in Grayson County, where they lived, raised their children, and later died. There is some evidence of a possible third marriage to an Emma Z or Emazetta Williams that likely occurred around 1865-1866. George and Emma had about 5 more children together. He passed away around 16 May 1882 in Grayson County. Note that some sources state his death 16 May 1876, but this is not possible as he shows up in the 1880 Census.[1]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:
