She works as a Telephone Operator and she can read, write and speak English. Obituary for Margaret Woods. Held Services for Mrs. Simon Woods at Lawson Wednesday. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at Lawson for Mrs. Simon (Margaret Ann) Woods, 84 years old, who died Tuesday at her home in Lawson. The Rev. E. J. Ezell of Cowgill conducted the services. Mrs. Woods had lived in Lawson for about 25 years and was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are: Four sons, Orville Woods and Luther Woods, both of Braymer, A.C. Woods of Attwood, Kans., and Ralph B. Woods of Kansas City; seven daughters, Mrs. W.J. Odell, Kingville, Mo., Mrs. Janie Mohn, Kansas City, Mrs. May McKown, Chillicothe, Mrs. Pete Schuell, Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Nancy Woods, Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Joe Alnutt and Mrs. V.O. Metcalf, both of Lawson; two sisters, Mrs. Sam McCroskie, Excelsior Springs, and Mrs. Lizzie Crowley, Rayville; a brother, Elias Boone, Dyton, Kans.; 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Margaret is buried next to James and Katherine Whitsitt. Simon is not buried with her.
