Ratcliff Boon was born in 1710 in Isle of Wight, Virginia to Ratcliff Boon and an unknown mother.
Ratcliff was a planter and farmer in Isle of Wight. He had 3 wives, but only had children with his first wife, Mary (maiden name unknown.) He married Mary in about 1732. She passed away in 1766. He then married Mary Raiford by 1771. She died between 1773 and 1778. Ratcliff married his third wife, Patience Bradshaw in 1780.[1]
Ratcliff was a Patriot during the American Revolution. He earned this title by providing supplies.[2]
