Thomas was born about 1845. He is the son of James Boon and Margaret Hayes. Thomas married Emily Huxley in 1875
THOMAS , a butcher, was born in Kent Street, Sydney on 21st December 1842. He was Christened by Father Murphy as ‘Thomas Bowen’ in St. Mary’s Cathedral on 3rd February 1843.
He married Emily Francis Huxley in Sydney in 1875, who was born at Hawkesbury in 1849. He lived at 63 London Street, Enmore in 1914 then “Grafton” Anglo Road, Campsie in 1921. Emily died 2nd July 1921 in Marrickville.
Thomas died and was buried in Queensland on 16th July 1886 (just 2 ½ weeks before his mother). His cause of death was Enteric Fever (Typhoid) as a result of perforation of the bowel.
