Biography

Israel was born about 1778 in Virginia. He was the son of Squire Boone and Ann White.

He first married in 1796, in Carter County, Tennessee, to Elizabeth Webber, the oldest daughter of Capt. Will Webber.

They resided in Wayne County, Kentucky with brothers, Jesse and Daniel. Elizabeth died in 1827 in Wayne County, Kentucky,

After Elizabeth died, Israel and all of his children migrated with his mother, Ann Boone, to Jackson County, Missouri, where Israel married Betty Oldham in 1829, at Fort Osage in Jackson County, Missouri.

He passed away May 7, 1851 in Jackson County, Missouri. Israel is believed to have been laid to rest in Oldham Cemetery, Sibley, Jackson, Missouri, United States. [1]
