Susanna Boone, the daughter of George Boone and Ann Linville was born 22 April 1778. She married William Hern about 8 APR 1795 in Rowan County, North Carolina. She died 16 October 1804. Nothing further is known about her or her descendants except the inscription on her tombstone in the George Boone - Robert Harris Graveyard which originally read:
"In memory of Susanna Hern who was born April 22nd in the year of our Lord and departed this life on the 16 October 1804, who was the daughter of George Boone and Nancy Boone and was married to Wm. Hern on the 8th of April 1795".
Research Notes
Susanna was buried at the George Boone Cemetery at the corner of what is now US 25 and Keeneland Dr. , which is now known as Richmond Cemetery in Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky. There is a marker at the Richmond Cemetery honoring all those that were buried there. [1]
