Biography
Ira was the son of Thomas and Sarah "Sally"(Muir) Boone.
On February 10, 1836 he married Elizabeth Liggette (1813 - 1897) in Clark County, Kentucky.
Children: Sarah Jane Boone Boone (1840 - 1930), John L. Boone (1842 - 1881), Harriet Wright Boone Morehead (1849 - 1914), Martha A Boone (1851 - 1883), William J Boone (1854 - 1899), Samuel Price Boone (1861 - 1953).
Burial: Odessa Cemetery, Odessa, Lafayette, Missouri, USA
