Annie was born in 1897.
Notes
After the death of their father at age 34, all the children were taken from their mother, Annie Sanders, and placed in a state children's home (Alabama Methodist Orphanage) in Selma, AL. Thelma Estelle was eleven years old at the time. The only child to be adopted was the youngest, Milford, who was adopted by a Jenkins family.
