Adam Booth born 1711 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County was the son of John Booth (b. before 1698 d. 1722) and Phoebe LNU. He married Sarah Booth in Northumberland County. Jane Booth born before 1750 was a known child of this marriage. He passed away 1758 in Northumberland County, Virginia.

1750-1751 Record Book #1; Northumberland Co Va, (Lewis & Booker): Page 285 Lancaster, John W. W. 18 December 1750---W. P. 8 April 1751 Friend Richard Brown executor, and to manage my estate until such time as they that I leave it to shall become of age to receive same. To God daughter Jane Booth-negro woman Wenney, negro girl Lucy, negro boy Ned, negro boy Jack, to her and her heirs; if she should die without heir then for them to be equally divided between the rest of Addam and his wife Sarah Booth's children if they should have any more. Note that out of them four negroes I give unto Sarah Balanger, twenty pounds to be paid out of the said negroes Friend Richard Brown and his heirs-my negro man Tom, my horse, bridle and saddle and all my cloths, six pounds, eleven shillings cash. Godson William Hobson and his heirs-all the rest of my estate. Witness: Thomas Wren Junr, Temperance Wren and John Barker.
