Biography
Catherine Booth born 1778 in King and Queen, Virginia was the daughter of George Booth and Mary Taliaferro. She married James Baytop Taliaferro in 1796. There were possibly ten named children of this union from Bible records that carry the Taliaferro family through several generations.
Catherine (Booth) Taliaferro passed away in 1823, and is buried in the churchyard of the Poroporone Baptist Church, in Shacklefords, King and Queen County, Virginia. [1]
