Vinton was born in 1852. He was the son of William Booth and Mary McMurthy. He passed away in 1921.
Taken from Find a Grave: Cal Booth married Dora Carder, daughter of Samuel Carder, of the Kempton community, May 12, 1895, this being the second marriage for the bride, her first marriage being to John W. Cunningham, of Clinton county, and one child was born to that union, this being Walter Cunningham of Kempton. One child was born to Mr. and Mrs. Booth; Vern Booth, aged 24. who resides at home, he being single. The son served in the world war, doing duty overseas. During the early eighties, Cal Booth was associated with his brothers, Dan and Elisha, they conducting a general store at Kempton and also handling timber. Cal retired from the business, investing his money in Tipton county farm land. At the time of his death he owned 150 acres near Sharpsville.
