Biography
Richard Booth was christened on 27 Dec 1765 at the church of St Michael in Kirkham, Lancashire. He was the son of John and Cathrine Booth. Their address was recorded as Kirkham.

Their daughter Ellen was christened on 9 Dec 1787 at Manchester Collegiate Church (later Cathedral).
Richard was left £2000 by the will of his cousin Elizabeth (Sephton) Atherton, written in 1828 and proved in 1831. In the will his address was given as Manchester.
