Biography
Oscar was born about 1848 to Royal and Sarah (Arn) Booth.[1][2] He married Lillie Mattison 20 Aug 1879 in Philadephia, Pennsylvania in a Methodist church.[3] They had at least two sons: Royal and Perry. In 1880, he was 32 and Lillie was 17. He was a dentist. They were living with their her family in Mt. Sterling, Illinois.[4] Oscar might have passed away in 1897 in Los Angeles, California.
Research Notes
My family thought that his first name was Royal, but it seems to have been Oscar per his son's death record.[5] C. Nava
There are many records for Oscar Booth - he may have been married several times, or there might be several Oscar Booths born in the same time/general area.
There is no death record in California in 1897.
