Oscar was born about 1848 to Royal and Sarah (Arn) Booth.[1][2] He married Lillie Mattison 20 Aug 1879 in Philadephia, Pennsylvania in a Methodist church.[3] They had at least two sons: Royal and Perry. In 1880, he was 32 and Lillie was 17. He was a dentist. They were living with their her family in Mt. Sterling, Illinois.[4] Oscar might have passed away in 1897 in Los Angeles, California.

My family thought that his first name was Royal, but it seems to have been Oscar per his son's death record.[5] C. Nava
