DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:

The listed parents weren't married and didn't have documented children for over a decade after this birth, which may belong to Richard Borden (1671-1732) Innocent (Cornell) Borden (1673-1720)

What proof is there that Archibald is a son of James? The will does not have him in it! I do NOT think Archibald is a descendant.

Did you ever find any proof that Archibald is or is not a descendant?
Children need to be reviewed, none can be born aft c 1771 when James dec'd.

Borden-1044 and Borden-176 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Both unsourced.
Burden-224 and Borden-1044 appear to represent the same person because: James' name is Borden. I have a picture attatched of his monument

Would love to merge these!
