The deceased son Jacob might be the Lt Jacob mentioned above, but the other names don't match. 1

"JOSEPH BERNER ...m SRL 17 Sep 1780 CATHERINE BORST dau of BALTASAR BORST & MARIA (Borst book).". 1

I believe the will. Catharina was born in 1762. "Annals of Barnerville" by Chauncy Rickard cited: "Catharine Borst, daughter of Jacob Borst and sister of Joseph and Lieutenant Jacob Borst".2,3 She was the daughter of Johan Balser Borst. She married Joseph Berner at St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran, Schoharie, Schoharie, New York, USA, on 17 September 1780.4,5,6 Catharina died on 24 April 1834 at Barnerville, Schoharie, New York, USA.2. 1 1 1
