Biography
Archibald Borthwick was the second son of Andrew Borthwick of Sauchnell and was born around 1639.[1]
Archibald married twice. By his first wife he had two children:[1]
- Patrick Borthwick (~1701-1772)
- Elizabeth Borthwick
Archibald then married Catherine/Kathrine Lawson in Edinburgh on 17 January 1701[2][1]
Archibald and Kathrine had two children:
- Barbara Borthwick (1703-?)[3]
- Catherine Borthwick (died young)
Archibald Borthwick died in March 1727, aged about 88.[4][1]
