Biography

Aunt Florence (Borthwick) and her husband Uncle Ollie Kenagy had six children. One died on his first birthday, and Oscar, one of a set of twins, died at six and a half years of age. For a time they lived six miles from [Samuel H. Kenagy's] farm home but then moved to a farm one quarter of a mile south of [that farm], which meant that [William L. Kenagy and [his] cousins attended the same grade and high schools.^[1]

Florence was a home-maker. She attended school only through the 2nd year of high school^[2]
