William was born about 1698. [1]

William Borton was married twice.

William Borton first married, Deborah Hedges, the daughter of Bernard Hedges and Elizabeth Prague.[2] William and Deborah had the following children:

  1. William Borton, m. 1760 Martha Owens
  2. Esther Borton, m. 1757 William Troth
  3. Hannah Borton . 1763 Joseph Lippincott[3]

He married second, Abigail Lord.[4][5] William and Abigail had the following children:

  1. Joshua Borton m. 1) 1772 Mary Lippincott, 2) 1781 Rachel Borton
  2. Josiah Borton m. 1774 Rebecca Haines
  3. Caleb Borton m.l 1766 Silence Willets
  4. Sarah Borton , died single [6]
