Nies (Niesje) (1894), married Wouter van de Peppel from Wageningen on September 30, 1915 in Andijk. They lived in Eindhoven. Wouter was born on Dec 22 1894 in Wageningen. Wouter's parents were Marinus van de Peppel and Aaltje Hovestad. They had 9 children.
One of their children was an “onderduiker” during World War II (hider from the Nazis – he may have been involved in underground work).
Wouter was an agent with the Rotterdam Cred. Bank. He was born in Wageningen, where Nies' half brother Hendrik lived around 1914. It was probably through him that Wouter and Nies met. They then all moved to Andijk where Wouter and Nies were married. They left Andijk for Eersel around 1927, and then settled in Eindhoven around 1930. There is a registration card that says Wouter took a special trip on March 13 1933 to Hoensbroek. It seems Wouter's parents moved to Enkhuizen sometime before 1943 when Marinus died there.
