Chadwick Boseman was an American playwright, screenwriter, and actor.
Among other roles, he was known for his portrayal of the Black Panther in Disney's Marvel Universe films, including Captain America: Civil War (2016), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). He was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, which eventually progressed to stage IV before 2020. During that time he continued working, completing many of the Marvel films mentioned as well as other projects. He did not speak publicly about his cancer diagnosis nor his treatment.
Chadwick married Taylor Simone Ledward in 2019.
