DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jim by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Hi! Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Hi!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have any questions I can help with?

I have become interested in my family's history and would like to find out more. I have been doing some work at Ancestry.com but want to use all avenues available to me. I think I am now up to about eight trees as the ones I work in keep branching out with each new pair of grandparents. I agree with the Wiki mission and would like to help if I can.

Am trying to trace my family and my wife's families. Already working in Ancectry.com. I have read the Honor Code and agree to abide to it.
