In May, 1764, Arthur Bostwick was appointed First Lieutenant in the 2nd Company of Militia in New Milford.
Arthur Bostwick served as a soldier (a private as per the SAR) with the Vermont militia under Captain Thomas Bull and Colonel Ira Allen. [1][2]
Arthur Bostwick removed from New Milford, Ct., to Manchester, Vt., in 1792, and afterwards went to Jericho, Vt.
