Hendrina was born on 2 Jan 1797 (not 1796, as currently recorded in her profile). Her 1797 birth date makes it more likely that her mother, Anna Maria v d Berg was still married to Willem Botha, the father of Hendrina, and that this Willem had not married Johanna Roos in April 1795. Unless there is evidence to the contrary, Willem Botha [Botha-330] appears to be a conflation of two different persons named Willem Botha.

I agree. Also - who or what is 'James Jackson Reeler' ...? How does this [help to] validate this profile ... ? [what is the context here?]

I've no knowledge of who James Jackson Reeler is.

As the regards the potential conflation of two persons named Willem Botha, given that Anna v d Berg was born in 1775 it is likely that she is linked to the "correct" Willem (born 1770). Johanna Roos was born in 1758 and it is probable that the Willem Roos who is her husband would have been born around the 1750's. I note that the 1865 death record of Anna Botha [Botha-3091], the daughter of Johanna Roos, shows her father as "Willem Jacobus Botha". I've not yet found any candidate persons born in this time period with that name.
