Pieter Barend Francois Botha was born in 1822. He is the son of Pieter Botha and Agatha Heilman

He was baptised in Uitenhage on 17 Dec 1922.[1]

He married Anna Jacoba Scholtz on 7 Feb 1852 in Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa. He was living at Riet Rivier, was aged 30 when he got married.[3] After Anna Jacoba passed away he later married Isabella Cathrina Duvenhage in 1974 in Edenburg, Orange Free State, South Africa [4]
