Biography

When Theunis Jacobus Botha was born on 21 March 1776, in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, his father, Philip Rudolph Botha, was 26 and his mother, Elisabeth Fourie, was 23. He married Cecilia Johanna Nel on 27 August 1797, in Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 5 daughters. He died before 30 September 1808, in Uitenhage, Cape Colony, South Africa.
