Hi Gabriel,

I was wondering if perhaps you would be interested to work on the Portal World-The Netherlands with Melissa and Bill and hopefully more members ? I was thinking maybe we can make it a sub Project of the Dutch Roots Project, where you all can add or work on more specific things related to the Netherlands you would like to see added there or work on.

If you are interested just add your name to the list and let me know, or you can of course contact Melissa or Bill directly.

Hi Gabriel,

Welcome to the Dutch Roots Project! :)

One of the goals of our project is to Source and improve all Dutch Profiles, including our own of course !

To show you how we work and how it should be done if you are a member of the project :), here's the help page for it: Biographies. We also have some examples of profiles, in the Bio's of these profiles you can look how to add the ref tags and sources etc: when is a profile Template ready? Of course you'll reach your Pre-1700 ancestors. That's why all members need to take the Pre-1700 self certification quiz, like you already did. The Dutch naming convention is very important, all info about Patronymics you can find there as well.

And here's what you can do already: to join the project

Well I know it's quite a lot of info, so just take your time to read it all, and of course for all members of the Project it's very important to participate at the G2G because that's where we communicate about Dutch profiles, if we need help finding sources or other project related stuff :).

Thanks for joining Gabriel, we're very happy to have you as a member and if you have questions or need some help just ask, always happy to help!

Greets from Holland , Jan
