Biography

William was born in 1851.

He left Gravesend on 22 Aug 1874 Sailed on ship "Soukar". William Bolt / Bott aged 22 from Guernsey. Occupation: Paper Hanger. He was recorded as a single man. (His wife Mary Ann, children William Henry and Louisa Alice arrived later on ship "Waimea" 4 October 1876).

He passed away in 1921. Buried in Mangatera Cemetery, Dannevirke.
