Igance was born in 1770. He is the son of Basile Amant Bouchard and Marie Anne Blais.
Marie Angélique Zauste, daughter of the late Christian Zauste and of Marguerite Rinkin, married Ignace Bouchard, son of Basile Bouchard and of the late Marie Anne Blay, on 14 Oct 1799 in St-Hyacinthe, both listed as of age.[1]
Ignace Bouchard, husband of Marie Angélique Zoste, died on 26 July 1860 and was buried on the 28th in St-Hyacinthe (St-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur, cathedral), the record giving him 88 years of age.[2]
