Jacques Boucher was the father of French pioneer in Canada Gaspard Boucher.
Jacques Boucher was born in France, in the area of Mortagne au Perche, place of origin of his son.[1][2] His father may have been Jean Boucher.[3][4] His mother is not mentioned by any reputable source.
He was a carpenter in Mortagne.[5].
He married Françoise Paigné, widow of Robert Jousse, perhaps on 4 July 1582[6] in Saint-Langis[4]. They had at least two children, Gaspard and Nicolas.[7]
He died before 30 July 1611, probably in Mortagne since he appears to have lived there. On 30 July 1611, Gaspard Boucher represented his parents's heirs (implying that he had at least one living sibling at this date)[5].
His mother: Françoise Roussin or Jeanne Mercier
According to various online genealogy trees, Jacques Boucher's mother was Françoise Roussin[8][9][10][11] or Jeanne Mercier[12][8]. None of these sites present valid sources supporting their claims.
This profile was originally attached to several more children. They were:
There is no reliable source confirming the existence of these children.
Jacques Boucher may have been related to Marin Boucher and his sister Jeanne but the exact connection is unknown. There is no evidence demonstrating that Jaques Boucher was Marin's father[13].

(same wife, same death date) Please combine this into the original Boucher-69 (I do not know how)
Jeanne Mercier was a vestige of biographie copied from Généalogie Québec. New family websites are insufficiently supported and hence text is shown as Jean & Françoise possibly being parents of Jacques. sivori.ca website tree shows Gaspard as being sibling of Marin and Jeanne, which is in error.
Généalogie Québec profile for Jeanne cites proprietary e-mails 'Courriel de Patrick Lahoudie - 8 avril 2004' & 'Courriel de Debi Boucher - 2 juillet 2009'.
Link that Lianne Lavoie's mentions in her comment below casts a lot of doubt about Jean and Françoise.
