Augustin Christophe Boucher was born and baptized on 3 Dec 1775 in Saint-Joachim church, which is located on the Beaupré coast, near Beaupré itself.[1]. He was the son of Augustin Boucher and Madeleine Caron
Augustin owned a farm in the Montmorency area. He married Marguerite Marion on 12 Jul 1802 Saint-Nicolas parish in Lévis. There were 13 known children born into this marriage; four died young, and nine survived to marry.
